Hi all. Happy February. Just wanted to just inspire some thoughts. We all have gifts and talents but at some point in our lives, we ask one important question ‘What am i called to do?’.
I believe we are called to influence others for the glory of God. What differs is our platform that will define our scope of influence. A platform could be a successful businessman, a doctor, a teacher, being a parent etc. We are constantly making personal improvements in our platform to expand our influence. But, the calling is the same. It is true that some may disagree with this. But, when you look at the bottom line, besides being where you are, a doctor, a student, a teacher, a musician, a parent….. what do you notice is the main objective? The ability to influence.
You become the best teacher that you can to influence others or have an impact on people’s lives, you become the best doctor you can be and by doing so you gain authority and ability to influence, you practice to become the best musician you can be to impact peoples lives with your lyrics or instrumental music. The sole purpose of having these talents and abilities that enable us to florish in our platforms is to glorify God and draw others to Him. In other words, be role models or influencers…..
